Green Tea?

Monday morning started off as any other typical day, but after a call from my dear Emmy that all changed. She suggested we go for a hike. Emmy also said it was a nice well populated, safe hike. It all sounded good to me... So we met at Haggens. Now it started off well enough but just after Emmy took me off the trail-- determined to lead me through the wilderness --she started to scream!!! When she finally caught her breath the word that came out was "SNAKE!" After a good laugh, we started off again just in time to see another snake -- then I led. A little after that when we started to seem lost, Emmy informed me that she had a great sense of direction as her dad was once a forest ranger. She then took one step and proceeded to slip. It was classic. I had a another good laugh. We then found some flowers and stopped to pick some. "No more comments on that." We saw a deer and a dragonfly that was resting on a blade of grass. As we were now tired we headed to Starbucks and got some coffee then sat outside and talked for awhile. In all it was not my typical day or hike. Oh yeah, I promised Emmy that I would post this for her. She said that she wanted me to post something she said but I don't think it came out the way she wanted it to though. well here it is,
As I survey the golden green I think of a cup of tea. So Emmy would that be green tea?
Thanks for the hike Emmy. I admit it was very memorable and fun! Thanks to Emily we returned safe and sound and in one piece.

I got a job!

I got a job! I got a job! I got a job!!!!!!

Okay, so now that I got that out of my system, I will give you the details.
I few weeks ago I applied for a job. Last Monday I received a call asking me if I would come in for a interview. Oh boy, would I! I passed the first interview and was asked to come back for a second which was today. I start on the 14th of June as the front receptionist. I will be the first person you see when you come in those front doors or the voice you hear when you call. Say a prayer for me,the first days are always hard. If you want to know who I'll be working for just give me a call or email.
My many thanks to everyone who gave me information for the interview and your support in my job search. God has truly Blessed me by answering my prayers for just the right job.
