Here are the latest workings in my not so boring life:
I have a new nanny job! I'm working with two children ages 4 and 5. They are very sweet kids and I love working with them.
I am going to shock you all! Are you ready for this? To get to my job from where live I have to get up at 5:30 AM! I don't get home till about 6:30 PM. I do that Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. YES! I am getting up at 5:30! I knew about 5:30 PM, but did you know that there was such a thing as a 5:3 am?
The good news is that I then get the next three days off to recover. ;) One of the other benefits with this job is that I get paid for forty hours of work no matter what. unless I work over forty hours then I get paid time and a half! The family I work for just went on vacation last week so I got paid for not working. SO COOL! Also, on Mondays and Wednesdays for two and a half hours both the kids are in School and I get that time to do what ever I want, but I am still getting paid for that time. I like to spend that time calling friends and reading my Bible.
God has really blessed me with this job. :D
We are moving again! The plus side to that is that the house is closer to my brothers collage and to my work. I wont have to get up so early! ha ha! I am getting really sick of packing though.... so is my family. It will be a long commute for my dad but he doesn't seem to mind. He's a great dad!

News update from the funny farm.
My family and I have been in our new house for almost four months now!
We are starting to find our way around more easily. One of the first things I found was Starbucks! :)
Dad loves his new job! he says it is one of the best jobs he has ever had.
Mom is still and ever will be the heart of our home. She keeps everyone and everything going. I don't know how we could do it with out her..... That's a sad though. :(
Edward is taking Drivers Ed and he likes it. Edward's teacher says he is doing great and will one day soon be a wonderful driver.
I started off doing a nanny job here with three children, but that job is finished and I am back at the ever so tedious task of finding a new job. YUCK!
I made a friend here! That might not sound like a big deal to a lot of you, but as I have been here for four months and don't know anyone here it is a big deal to me.
We are still deciding on a Church, but getting closer to finding one. We have found that a lot of Churches here are a lot more..... relaxed with their services than we are comfortable with. ok, so we're stuffy! oh well.....

Learning patience is not easy!
As many of you know I have always wanted to be married and have a family of my own. I can still remember holding my brother the day he was born for the first time and telling my family "he's mine! I want to have this!" That desire is even stronger today.
When talking to a good friend today about being young woman with that same desire and waiting for "Mr. Right" to come along. I felt relief knowing I'm not the only one! (Not that I'm glad she's single though.) =)
I suddenly wanted to write to all the other single women out there waiting for the one God has for them to let them know they are not alone. There are other women out there is your same situation. Watching many of our friends, a good portion of them younger than us getting married. Listening to our friends talk forever about how perfect he is and all the wonderful things he does for her, but while being extremely happy for her a list of questions keep going through your mind.
"Why not me?"
"Is there something wrong with me?"
"Did I do something wrong?"
"Am I not enough of a Proverbs 31 woman?"
"Am I not feminine enough?"
"Am I not smart enough?"
"Am I not pretty enough?"
I jokingly told my friend that Sleeping Beauty's prince charming came to her when she was only sixteen! I have three options, to believe that my prince charming is running years late, that fairy tales don't exist or I should go take a long nap.
I know it's not easy and it gets disheartening, I struggle with it every day, but I will tell you the same thing my Mother repeatedly tells me. There is nothing wrong with you! It's just that God is still preparing you and the young man for each other.
So take heart, keeping hoping and the day will come when you get to call your all friends and talk endlessly about the great guy you have. ;)

L.O.V.E.
This song has fond memories for me.
My family has always loved to listen to Nat King Cole.
When I was little my Dad would turn on this song, pick me up, and dance with me. I still love this song, I still love to dance, and I still love my Dad!
L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore
Love is all that I can give to you
Love is more than just a game for two
Two in love can make it
Take my heart and please don't break it
Love was made for me and you
(trumpet instrumental)
L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore
Love is all that I can give to you
Love is more than just a game for two

Have you ever noticed that every family seems to have sayings or phrases?
I thought I would list some that mean something to my family.
Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain. - My Mom has had this on the wall for years. It's one of her favorite saying.
If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything. - My Dad.
When you get the choice to sit it out or dance... I hope you dance. - One of my sister sent me this song as her wish for me.
These are saying that will make anyone in my family instantly smile. :)
He will be my pet and I shall call him squishy. - Finding Nemo,
Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.... - Finding Nemo,
I feel like I just found out my favorite love song was written about a sandwich! - 27 Dresses,
Say what? - This is all me!
Excuse you! - This is me too. lol
Power pills. haha
I thought I was indecisive, but now I'm not sure. :) Got this off Abbie's blog. :)
You are a buffet of manliness. - Don't ask!
Dutch Blitz!!! - Natasha and me!
Variety is the ice cream of life. - Natasha and me. ;)
Edie did it! - Since we ran out of animals and we couldn't blame it on the goldfish....
Hold me I'm scared! - I've found this works even if you not scared. Dads are great.
Stupid peace of hardware! - My brother says this when he gets mad at the computer....
McMamamy storie. - It's a family thing. It's really a book author named Patrick F. McManus.
I try to take it one day at a time but sometimes several days attack me all at once! ;)
Frogie jumper. - It's one of those things from your childhood you can never live down...
If at first you don't succeed try not to look astonished.
There was a little girl.... - Don't ask me! please....
Even it if you don't know what you're doing do DO IT NEATLY! - Mom saw this on a plaque and said it reminded her of me. hmmm.....
Do you believe in love at first sight or should I walk by you again? - I have his on a plaque in my room. ;) hehehe

I'm tired just thinking about it.
This is just a brief list of some of the things our family has done the last few weeks....
* Put our house on the market.
* Sold our house in one week!
* Moved into a temporary place. The word "moving" is such a small word, but such a big task!
* Dad got a new job!
* I gave my two weeks notice at my job.
* Mom and Dad had their 24th anniversary!
* One of the kids put a dent and scratch on my new car! That is a story all in it's self....
* I got a new nanny job. God is so good! :D
* While my family was looking for a new place I stayed home alone. I had never done that before. haha
* Moved into our new home. unpacking everything yet again.... It took two truck loads!
* Opened new bank accounts. Banking here is very different. We don't like it as much.
* My brother found and got into a local collage that offered exactly what he wanted. The collage where we were didn't offer it.
* I drove the local highways and freeways! I'm getting pretty good at it to if I do say so myself! :)
* painted our yellow kitchen tan.
* painted the red wall in the living room a beige color.
* My "adopted":) sister's Mom needed a local place to stay. so we had our first gets here last night.
* We're trying a new Church every Sunday. We're still looking for a Church we like.
Just think, This isn't even everything!
Thanks to everyone who helped us do it all!

oops....
Today when I was walking Ok, skipping down the stairs at home I tripped and mildly sprained my ankle.
Mom had me sit with my foot in the Hot Tub to relax the mussel in my calf that was in spasm also. Then we watch a movie while I put my foot up. (The movie was Ever After) It's not to bad I just feel really stupid. It seems like I can't even go down a flight of stairs without hurting myself! What a wimp! ha ha

It's been two whole weeks!
It was this day two weeks ago and about the same time that I first got to see my new home.
I can remember sleepily going from room to room exploring, but I still don't remember going to bed that night....

I got my mind set on you
I got my mind set on you
I got my mind set on you
I got my mind set on you
I got my mind set on you
But its gonna take money
A whole lotta spending money
Its gonne take plenty of money
To do it right child
Its gonna take time
A whole lot of precious time
Its gonna take patience and time, ummm
To do it, to do it, to do it, to do it, to do it,
To do it right child
I got my mind set on you
I got my mind set on you
I got my mind set on you
I got my mind set on you
And this time I know its for real
The feelings that I feel
I know if I put my mind to it
I know that I really can do it
I got my mind set on you
Set on you
I got my mind set on you
Set on you
But its gonna take money

Out of my comfort zone....
We finally finished painting the kitchen! It was a bright shade of yellow that we have now painted a nice tan. Normally I like yellow, but this yellow was like looking directly at the sun! Plus it didn't go with anything Mom had to go in there. It was driving her nuts! Now we have to paint my Brother's room. I think he would really like to get Scooby Doo of his walls. :)
Yesterday I drove all the way to the Mall. Do you know what that means? I drove a highway and a freeway! Aren't you proud of me? :D The only thing now is that I'm still gripping the steering wheel! Help!!!

I don't feel good...
At about 11:00 last night I got really sick to my stomach. I tried to eat some crackers to settle it but it didn't help. The more I moved around the worse it got. It kept getting worse until I couldn't move without feeling like I was going to be very sick!
My brother was so sweet! I was having hot and cold flashes so when I heard My brother in hallway getting some watter I called to him. He put some extra blankets on me and made sure I was taken care of. He is so great!
When I woke the next I felt a lot better. Just still a little queasy.
