News from my newest adventures.

We are in our new house!

We left town on Saturday with a lot of help from Jon. Thanks again Jon. He worked really hard! We couldn't have done it with out him!

It was a long ride. Our truck had trouble taking any kind of an incline and would slow down to about 25 mp. The other drivers didn't seem to like us very much to say the least. Dad and I nicknamed it "the gutless wonder".

We made it to the house at about 10:00. By the time Dad and I got here I was so exosted that I don't even remember getting into bed!

At one point on Saturday when I was very tired I told my Dad that I wanted to go home! Then after I thought about it I realized that we were completely out of the apartment we had rented and I didn't know where my new home was! I had not seen the new place yet. How sad! I didn't know where my home was.

My days are full of unpacking boxes and more boxes......
Things are coming together though.

We are now settling into the new house and doing well. We are all very tired though. Unpacking is soooo not fun! We are all a bit overwhelmed by the size of the house. One of my favorite things about the house is the master bath. It is so big you could put a bed in it and live in there! And that is not an exaggeration! The bathtub in there is so big that I call it "Mom and Dad's indoor swimming pool".

As some of you may know I had not seen the house before I moved here. I had not even seen the area. I followed completely on faith. It was not easy but I praying a lot about it and felt that it was what God wanted me to do. So I left everything that I knew and everyone that I know to follow my family and the leading of God. He has truly blessed me! It looks like I might already have a new nanny job! Mom and Dad were talking to some people about me a few days before I came here and they said they are looking for a nanny. They had just one important question about me for my family, Is she a Christian? lol

The Parents of the children that need a nanny stopped by our house today to talk to me about taking the job. It was sort of embarrassing though, I was in my sweat pants and didn't even have any makeup on! Oh well. I guess the Lord is just keeping me humble..... Anyway, I talked to them a little about the job and they offerd me more pay than I was getting at the last nanny job. I wont have to work as many hours and they like the fact that I am a strong Christian! Plus it will be the same days that I was already working! Cool! I'm going to their house Saturday to talk to them more and meet the children. There is a 2 year old girl they just adopted in November from China. There are Two boys one is 6 and the other 9. They are a strong Christian family. WOW! God is so good!

God is taking care of his child!
